Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Livingstone

Welcome to Zambia! Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, we are met and transferred to our lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River. Across the water lies Zimbabwe's Zambezi National Park, providing a beautiful setting for our stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or enjoy one of the optional activities available.

Day 2

Victoria Falls

Today we visit Victoria Falls, one of Africa's most impressive natural landmarks. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning “The Smoke That Thunders”, the falls offer a spectacular view as the Zambezi River plunges into the gorge below. Optional activities include a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, a helicopter flight or a fishing excursion.

Day 3

To Kafue National Park

After breakfast, we transfer to Livingstone Airport for our flight to Lusaka. From there, we continue by road to Kafue National Park. Along the way, we pass rural villages and roadside markets, offering a glimpse into everyday life in Zambia. Our lodge is situated on the banks of the Kafue River and provides a base for exploring the area.

Day 4 & 5

Kafue National Park

The next two days are dedicated to exploring Kafue National Park. Depending on the time of day, we enjoy game drives in open safari vehicles or explore sections of the Kafue River by boat. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, antelope and, with luck, predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and African wild dogs.

Day 6

To the South Luangwa National Park

The day begins with a final game drive in Kafue National Park before returning to Lusaka. In the afternoon, we fly to Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. Our lodge is situated beside a lagoon, surrounded by ebony and fig trees, offering a peaceful setting to enjoy the natural surroundings.

Day 7 - 9

South Luangwa National Park

The next three days are dedicated to exploring South Luangwa National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, we discover the park on game drives and, depending on the camp, guided walking safaris. Night drives offer another opportunity to experience the park and observe its nocturnal wildlife.

Day 10

To Lower Zambezi National Park

Today we fly to Lower Zambezi National Park. The transfer from the airstrip to the lodge doubles as our first game drive through the park. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, the lodge offers a beautiful setting to enjoy the surrounding wilderness and wildlife.

Day 11 & 12

Lower Zambezi National Park

The next two days are spent exploring Lower Zambezi National Park. Depending on the time of day, we discover the area on game drives, boat cruises or canoe excursions. The park's varied habitats support elephants, buffalo, hippos, antelope and a variety of bird species. With luck, lions and other predators may also be seen.

Day 13

Lusaka

We return to Lusaka, where our hotel provides a comfortable base before our onward journey. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 14

Departure

Today it is time to say goodbye to Zambia. After breakfast, we transfer to Lusaka Airport for our onward flight home. We leave with unforgettable safari experiences, breathtaking landscapes and lasting memories of one of Africa's most authentic wilderness destinations.
