Welcome to Namibia! Upon arrival at the airport, we will be met and transferred to Windhoek, where we collect our rental vehicle. We then make our way to our accommodation, offering the perfect place to unwind after the long flight. The rest of the day is at leisure. Depending on our arrival time, we may take a first stroll through Windhoek, relax by the pool or enjoy a drink overlooking the city.
After breakfast, our self-drive holiday through Namibia begins. Travelling via Rehoboth and Kalkrand, we make our way to the Kalahari, a landscape of red sand dunes, open grasslands and camelthorn trees. After arriving at our lodge, there is time to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Later in the afternoon, we join a guided nature drive in an open safari vehicle. As the sun begins to set, we experience the beauty of the Kalahari while keeping an eye out for oryx, springbok, ostriches and other wildlife that inhabits this semi-desert region.
Today we travel into southern Namibia. The landscape becomes increasingly arid, with vast open plains, striking rock formations and the distinctive quiver trees that are characteristic of this region. Along the way, it is well worth visiting the Quiver Tree Forest and the nearby Giant's Playground, where unusual granite boulders have been shaped by nature over millions of years. By the afternoon, we arrive at our lodge near Fish River Canyon. Depending on our arrival time, there is an opportunity to enjoy the views before ending the day with a relaxing sundowner.
(Silver) This morning, we visit Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world. From several viewpoints, we enjoy impressive views across the vast gorge, which stretches for around 160 kilometres through southern Namibia. Afterwards, we continue our drive to Aus. Travelling through the wide open landscapes of southern Namibia, we eventually reach our lodge, where we can relax and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.
(Gold) Today we experience Fish River Canyon from a different perspective. During a guided excursion, we explore this impressive landscape and enjoy sweeping views into the gorge, which reaches depths of up to 550 metres. With a little luck, we may also spot some of the bird species that inhabit the area. Returning to the lodge in the afternoon, there is time to relax and appreciate the peaceful setting overlooking the canyon.
(Silver) Today offers the opportunity to visit the coastal town of Lüderitz on Namibia's Atlantic coast. Along the way, we can explore the famous ghost town of Kolmanskop, a fascinating reminder of the country's diamond mining era. Lüderitz is known for its colourful German colonial architecture, picturesque harbour and dramatic coastal scenery. On the return journey, it is worth stopping at Garub, where, with a little luck, we may spot the famous wild horses of the Namib.
(Gold) After breakfast, we continue to the Tiras Mountains, one of Namibia's most peaceful and scenic regions. Characterised by wide open spaces, rolling mountain ranges and remarkable tranquillity, this area is perfect for slowing down and enjoying nature. Our lodge is set within a private nature reserve, where a variety of activities may be available, including guided walks and nature drives. Alternatively, simply relax and take in the beauty of this unique landscape.
(Silver) Today we continue towards the Namib Desert. The drive takes us through ever-changing scenery, with wide open plains, striking mountain ranges and the first red dunes appearing on the horizon. By the afternoon, we arrive at our lodge near Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei. Depending on our arrival time, there may be an opportunity to relax or join an optional sundowner drive before ending the day surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the desert.
(Gold) Today we have another day to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Sinclair Nature Reserve. Depending on the activities offered by the lodge, we may join a guided nature drive or a walk to discover more about the region's unique wildlife and landscapes. As the day draws to a close, we can relax and watch the evening light transform the Tiras Mountains into a sea of warm colours.
(Silver) Today brings one of the highlights of any Namibia holiday. Setting off early in the morning, we make our way to Sossusvlei, where the first light of day illuminates the towering red dunes. We visit the famous Deadvlei, known for its ancient camelthorn trees standing against the white clay pan, and those who wish can climb one of the dunes for sweeping views across the desert. On our way back, we stop at Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon.

This charming coastal town is perfect for a stroll along the promenade, browsing the local shops or enjoying dinner at one of its many restaurants.

After arriving at our lodge, there is time to explore the area on foot or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and sweeping views.

Our lodge is located within a private wildlife reserve bordering the park, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. During the afternoon, we head out on a guided game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, antelope, big cats and, with a little luck, rhinos. A wonderful introduction to the safari experiences that lie ahead.
(Silver) Today we arrive at Etosha National Park, one of Africa's best-known wildlife reserves. Travelling through the open landscapes of northern Namibia, we reach our lodge near the park entrance. Depending on our arrival time, there may be an opportunity for our first game drive in Etosha National Park or simply to relax at the lodge before the exciting safari days ahead.
(Gold) Today we enjoy another day in the Etosha Heights Private Reserve. During a guided game drive, we explore this vast private reserve in search of elephants, giraffes, antelope, big cats and a variety of other wildlife. Between activities, there is time to relax at the lodge or watch the wildlife visiting the nearby waterhole before ending the day with a leisurely dinner.
Today is dedicated to exploring Etosha National Park. As we make our way through the park towards the eastern region, we visit a variety of waterholes where wildlife gathers throughout the year. With a little luck, we may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryx, kudu, wildebeest, springbok, ostriches, lions or even rhinos. Towards the evening, we leave the park and continue to our lodge, where we can relax and reflect on another memorable day of wildlife viewing.
Today offers another full day to enjoy the wildlife of Etosha National Park. Exploring at our own pace, we visit a selection of waterholes where animals gather throughout the year. With a little luck, we may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, lions, leopards or even rhinos. Alternatively, we can spend some time relaxing at the lodge and simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings after the excitement of the previous days.
(Silver) Today we leave Etosha National Park behind and travel south to the Otjiwa Nature Reserve, one of Namibia's oldest private wildlife reserves. Set within a diverse natural landscape, the reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife. During our two-night stay, there is plenty of time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and experience all that the reserve has to offer. Depending on the lodge's activities, we may join guided game or nature drives, explore the area on foot or simply relax and take in the beautiful scenery. With a little luck, we may encounter rhinos, giraffes, antelope and many other wildlife species.
(Gold) Today we leave Etosha National Park behind and travel south to the Okonjima Nature Reserve. Internationally recognised for its conservation work, the reserve offers exceptional wildlife experiences in a beautiful natural setting. During our two-night stay, we take part in guided activities to discover the reserve's remarkable wildlife. With a little luck, we may encounter leopards, brown hyenas, rhinos, giraffes, antelope and many other species. Between activities, there is plenty of time to relax at the lodge, explore the walking trails or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Today it is time to say goodbye to Namibia. We drive back to Windhoek, return our rental vehicle and are then transferred to the airport for our onward flight. Taking home unforgettable memories, incredible wildlife encounters and lasting impressions, our Namibian holiday comes to an end.
