- Covid-19 Update 10 January 2022
The Omicron virus has now traveled the world and to all of our relief, it does not seem so serious.
We
are relieved to say that we have had no cancellations over the past two
months meaning that our guests traveled to and enjoyed their safaris
with us.
Wearing
masks whilst traveling and doing covid tests are a manageable
inconvenience and I think we have now accepted that this is necessary
when going on holiday. Being vaccinated as well does of course have
additional advantages.
In
Namibia our Omicron numbers have been decreasing recently so at the
moment we can say that the risks of contracting the virus here are much
lower than in Europe. With our wide open spaces, on an individual tour
with us, I believe it is one of the safest holiday experiences
worldwide.
Namibia
is currently receiving the first rains of the year, and the countryside
will soon be green and beautiful. At this time of year one feels the
joy of the animals with sufficient food and water around.
Our
tourist numbers are low, you will have our beautiful country almost all
to yourselves. So don’t delay, we look forward to arranging your next
dream safari in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe or South Africa.
Happy New Year!
