Namibia Botswana Victoria Falls - 14 days

Day 1: Arrive in Windhoek
Afternoon relax at lodge in the country. After coffee and cake you go on an afternoon nature drive and enjoy a sundowner in typical bushveld savannah. Lodge near Windhoek.

Day 2: Drive to Otjiwarongo
Travel via Okahandja where you may visit the wood carvers market. Arrive at the fauna and flora paradise called the Waterberg Plateau. Many interesting nature trails/walks to choose from. Lodge at the Waterberg plateau.

Etosha CheetahDay 3: Drive to the Etosha National Park
Own game drives to view the many animals in this „Great White Place“ . At night view the many animals at the gently floodlit waterhole. Restcamp at Okaukuejo near waterhole.

Day 4: Drive through the Etosha National Park
Own game drive through park to visit the many waterholes. Travel via Halali to eastern Etosha to leave the park to reach our comfortable lodge in the Terminalia savannah. Bush Camp.

Day 5: Drive to guestfarm near Grootfontein
On the way to Tsumeb you may visit Lake Otjikoto where the Germans dumped their canons in 1915. The guestfarm is a typical cattle farm, you will experience life on the farm and over dinner you will learn about Namibia and the daily challenges of a farmer in this hard land. Guestfarm in countryside.

Day 6: Travel to Rundu on the border with Angola
You enter “true Africa“ travelling through an area with many traditional African kraals. The lodge is directly on the river where you will take a special sundowner boat cruise late in the afternoon. Lodge on the Okavango River.

Day 7: Drive through the Kavango Region
The lodge is directly on the Okavango River where the hippos often come out at night to graze in between the bungalows. You will take your own game drive in the wildlife paradise that is Mahango National Park . Lodge near the Mahango National Park.

Kavango RiverDay 8: Drive through Western Caprivi
Pure Africa! Elephants, hippo, crocodile and many other animals in this sub-tropical wildlife rich area. Sundowner boat trip along meandering river channels, in-between riverine rich vegetation, in search of wild animals. Lodge directly on the Kwando River.

Day 9: Mazambala Island
Interesting game drive in Bwabwata National Park. At certain times of the year there are hundreds of elephant migrating through this area, an awesome sight to see when they go down to drink at the famous horseshoe bend. Lodge on the Kwando River.

Day 10: Transfer to Kasane /Botswana
Return of rental car at office in Katima. Transfer to Kasane in Botswana to our lodge directly on the Chobe River. We reach our lodge by small boat. The real African adventure begins. Lodge on Impalila Island, Chobe River.

Day 11: Lodge on the Chobe River, Botswana
Early morning boat cruise along the Chobe National Park to view the many elephants and other wild animals found here. In the afternoon we continue on our boat cruise to come within meters of the elephant and other animals coming down to the water to drink, including giraffe, buffalo, sable antelope and more. Lodge on Impalila Island, Chobe River.

Victoria FallsDay 12: Transfer to Victoria Falls
The lodge overlooks the deep gorges of the Zambezi, down river from the mighty Victoria Falls. Lodge on the Zambezi River.

Day 13: Victoria Falls
Transfer to the world famous Victoria Falls where the Zambezi River drops 110 meters over a cliff 1700 meters wide, to the gorge below. Known as the Smoke that Thunders, the picture of these falls will remain etched in your memory forever. In the afternoon you may decide to go river rafting, on a boat cruise on the Zambezi River or possibly a scenic flight above the falls. Lodge on the Zambezi River.

Day 14: Flight Victoria Falls - Johannesburg
Transfer to airport for afternoon flight. Return to Europe on night flight out of Johannesburg.
